Physical Education is part of School Curriculum. Physical Education and Competitive Sports are important aspects of life at Padma Adarsh School. The School focuses on Physical fitness as well as Skill and Competency. The Students have won many medals and awards in track and field events, indoor and outdoor games at Zonal, District and at State level. We have been unbeatable champion for the past 14 years in gill memorial sports meet an inter- aadarsh spots and games competition held every year in Raja Rathinam stadium.We have got a huge ground for the Students to play various sports and Games. We have regular Sports and Games periods from LKG to XII Std.
Club Activities with the intention of helping children explore their interest and to be ahead in all fields, The School offers a wide array of clubs.
The House systems is great important in School life. It Functions to inculcate the spirit of healthy competition among Students and provide a focus for Loyalty and Team works. The School has Four houses named after the Four Perennial Rivers of India The Ganga, The Yamuna, The Vaigai and The Cauvery.
Science Club
The Members of this club are encouraged to explore Sciencerelated Activities. The Students of the club participate in Science Exhibition at School level and at District every year and had won prizes at district level every year.
Interact Club
The Interact club of Padma Adarsh School with Rotary club of Chennai upscale is every active in Padma Adarsh School since its inception in the year 2018. The Members are given training to become Creative, Confident and Competent global citizen. Go Green Awareness Camps, Water harvesting keep yourself clean are conducted regularly. Dental and Eye camp are carried out every year in the Campus.
NSS
Students are enrolled in NSS from class XI standard every year. This club provides a platform for the Students to develop a richer perspective of the World they live in and make it a better place through Community Service.They play a vital role in shaping the Conduct and Character of the Students. Students enrolled in NSS club do Social Work in the Rural Areas and participates in special camp which included Campus cleaning, temple/church cleaning, Services to old age homes and awareness program on health and hygiene, participating in rallies for crating awareness to follow traffic rules, ill-effects of using alcohol, effects of drinking and driving etc.
Eco Club
ECO club of Padma Adarsh School plays an important role in creating environmental awareness. It motivates the Students to keep their surrounding tidy and clean. Several activities like poster competitions, slogan competition, campus cleaning drive, and Planting Trees are organized.
Junior Red Cross Club
Interested Students from VI standard to VIII standard are enrolled Every Year by the JRC Teacher. JRC classes are conducted once in a week and Training is given in all activities. Training in First Aid is given by the District Junior Red Cross Society and Certificates in given to all the Participants.
